Wildlife gardens

A garden isn't a garden without some wildlife coming in. We can all help make up for lost habitats by making our garden a sanctuary for wildlife.

Snowdrops and hay meadow wildlife garden design in Barrow Gurney, Somerset

The first picture shows that the smallest gardens have room for some naturalised snowdrops to welcome the spring. After the snowdrops, this area is transformed into a mini hay meadow.

The second picture shows that, wherever there is a tree, there is an opportunity for a bird box.
